Practical Magic 2 premiered in London

Kidman and Bullock returned as the Owens sisters. The sequel opens wide on 11 September.

Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock walked the London red carpet on Wednesday for the European premiere of Practical Magic 2.

They reprise Sally and Gillian Owens, nearly three decades after the 1998 film. Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest return. Joey King and Maisie Williams join as the next generation of the family. Warner Bros. has the wide release set for 11 September 2026.

The premiere followed a quieter Los Angeles warm-up earlier in August, when Kidman and Bullock surprised a Cinespia screening of the original at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. That night leaned hard into Midnight Margaritas and coven jokes. London was the formal launch.

Fashion coverage focused on the two leads in strapless gowns and on the younger cast's paired looks. The film's promise is simple: same sisters, same town magic, new daughters.

Practical Magic never left streaming rotation for a large millennial audience.

A sequel with the original stars is rare studio nostalgia that still has a theatrical date. For Indian multiplex calendars, mid-September Hollywood releases compete with festival and regional titles. The brand is the draw more than the plot synopsis.

More premieres, then the 11 September opening. Early reviews will decide if the coven joke still lands.
