Fadnavis held the first Mahayuti coordination meeting

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held the first Mahayuti coordination committee meeting at his official residence on Monday evening.

Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar were there, along with other ministers and senior leaders. Dinner followed. Indian Express reported that the fence-mending came days after Rahul Gandhi's Chhatron Ki Goonj programme in Pune drew a strong student response, and that BJP sources linked the timing to his growing youth appeal.

The substance of the meeting was more transactional. Times of India and Free Press Journal said District Planning Committee funds, a long fight inside the alliance, got a formula: 70% goes to the local MLA for development works, and 30% sits with the guardian minister. Appointments to state-run corporations are due within about a fortnight, after one or two more meetings. Leaders were told not to criticise partner parties, MLAs, MPs or seniors in public.

Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule also said the allies will contest upcoming polls together and keep contradictory remarks off the record.

Mahayuti won big, and it still needs a peace process for money and posts.

DPC funds are how MLAs show work in their seats. Corporation boards are how parties pay workers. A gag on public sniping is an admission that audio clips and local fights were getting loud enough to help the opposition.

Whether Rahul's Pune night truly forced the calendar is a BJP source claim. The meeting itself is real, and the 70-30 split is the part that will be tested in districts.
