Abhishek's 30-ball ton seals India's 3-0 Afghanistan sweep

Abhishek Sharma hit the fastest Twenty20 International century by a batter from a full-member nation as India crushed Afghanistan by 127 runs in Delhi on Thursday and completed a 3-0 series sweep.

The opener reached his hundred in 30 balls and finished on 108 off 34, with nine fours and 11 sixes, before falling to Rashid Khan. The knock beat Rohit Sharma's previous India record of a 35-ball century against Sri Lanka in 2017. Sanju Samson made 50 off 35 as India posted 221 for 7 after being sent in.

Afghanistan collapsed to 94 all out in 14.1 overs. Captain Ibrahim Zadran top-scored with 25. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets each. Jasprit Bumrah and the rest of the attack left little room once the top order went.
